COVID-19: AEDC donates palliative food items to Nassarawa state

As part of effort to cushion the hardship occasioned by COVID nineteen, the Abuja electricity distribution company has donated food items to Nasarawa State government for onward distribution to people of the state.

Presenting the food items to governor Abdullahi Sule at the government house lafia, the Acting general manager Nasarawa region Chris Chime said the gesture was part of the companies coporate social responsibility.

Appreciating the effort of the state government towards controlling and containing the Spread of COVID nineteen, the Acting General manager said the donation is in fulfilment of the AEDC corporate social responsibility to the people of the state.

Reciving the donation on behalf of government and people of the state, governor Abdullahi Sule appreciated the gesture by the AEDC for their contribution towards the fight against the deadly disease.

Items donated by the Abuja electricity distribution company include One hundred fifty kg bags of rice, thirty eight fifty kg bags of Beans, sixty twenty five kg bags of semovita and fourty twenty five kg can of palm oil.
