- COVID-19: Gov’t offices to open from Monday, 4th May… FG/PTF
The Presidential Taskforce Force for COVID-19 has said official works and offices will begin to open from Monday, 4th May, 2020.
The Taskforce made this known during its daily briefing today, which was anmounced by its national Cordinator, Dr Aliyu.
Although the statement says the resumption will be based on specific grade levels. Other sectors of the economy like the banking, construction, manufacturing sectors, as well as food processing companies, will be allowed to open from Monday, the PTF further said.
The statement also says banks will be allowed to open from 8am to 2pm daily while observing the new restrictions put in place by the government.
The national coordinator said that temperature test, respiratory hygiene and restriction of gathering of not more than 20 persons will be introduced.
