A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kwara State and a Former Governorship Aspirant in the State, Engr. Sunday Adebayo Babalola has rejoiced with the Hon. Minister of State for Transportation of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki as she clocked the unique age of 55 Years on earth today Sunday 3rd May, 2020.
I use this medium to felicitate with you on the occasion of your 55 Years Birthday. You are one of the shining lights of our dear State and a good ambassador of the womenfolk in Nigerian Government. During the periods that characterised the 2019 general elections, some people viewed your presence in APC with so much suspicion in view of your family ties with the arrowhead of the then sitting government which we were up against. Knowing you well during the road to 2015 general elections when I aspired to be Governor alongside Senator Simeon Sule Ajibola, Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal, your humble self and others, I have come to know you as person with vision, focus and determination. Thereafter, you supported, with your substance, my project, Kwara Citizens Development Initiative (KCDI), although a senior citizen claimed those gifts were to him personally and carted them away. Notwithstanding, your thoughts and support were well received and appreciated at the time. I have also come to respect you the more, after the episode of 2019 peaceful political revolution in Kwara State as many never thought you could stand the way you did, fearlessly, gallantly and like the true daughter of Dr. Olusola Saraki.
It was highly commendable listening to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu laying credence to your loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari and All Progressives Congress as a party. This is why it would be unfair if I do not send you this sincere birthday wishes as you attain the unique age of 55 Years today.
It is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to be your pillar of strength, He will continue to shower upon you His divine grace and bountiful mercies.
I wish you long life amidst sound health and more years of productive service to Federal Republic of Nigeria and our State.
