SPORTS: MORE CLUBS lN PREMIER LEAGUE OPEN TO USING NEUTRAL VENUES IF RELEGATION IS REMOVED.
A growing number of Premier League Clubs are open to playing the remaining fixtures at neutral venues but with the threat of relegation removed.
Top flights clubs have been told that using up to 10 neutral stadiums will be the only way to complete the season.
Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club say the are not in favour of using neutral venues because it may affect the integrity of the league.
Clubs near the bottom of the table feel it is unfair to play in such different conditions when at risk of relegation.
The English Premier League has been suspended since 13th March because of the corona virus pandemic but all clubs are committed to playing the 92 remaining fixtures of the 2019-2020 season if and when safe to do so.
Meanwhile Liverpool Goalkeeper Loris Karius says he has terminated his two year loan deal at Turkish Club Besiktas.
The 26year old was in the second year of his spell in lstanbul and had made 30 appearances before the season was stopped because of Corona virus.
Karius said on his lnstagram it was a shame it comes to an end like this.
It would be recalled that last month the German goalkeeper reported Besiktas to FIFA for unpaid wages for a second time, although a deal between the two parties was reportedly close to being agreed without FIFA^s intervention.
