NCDC DRIVER TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID – 19 IN NASARAWA.
One more confirmed case of COVID – 19 has been recorded in Nasarawa State.
Governor Abdullahi Sule announced this while giving an update on COVID – 19 in the state during a joint security meeting in Lafia.
Governor Abdullahi Sule said the latest case is a driver for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control who transports samples of suspected COVID – 19 patients for tests.
He stated that the affected driver who resides in Ado village of Karu Local Government Area of the state had been moved to COVID – 19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment.
There are 12 confirmed cases of COVID – 19 in Nasarawa State with one death and no discharge do far.
A brief briefing is expected at the end of the meeting.
