Isanlu Bank, Police Station Attacks: Asiwaju Idris Commiserates with victims, Says Perpetrators Would Not Go Unpunished.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has prevailed on security agencies in the state to go after the criminals who participated in Thursday’s bank robbery in Isanlu and attack on Police Station which led to the death of some persons including police personnel on duty.
Asiwaju Asiru made the appeal in a statement while condoling family of those who lost loved ones in the unfortunate attack, said the incident is a sad episode alien to the people of the area.
Hon. Asiru described the incident as unacceptable, dastardly and wickedly, calling on security operatives not to rest on their oars but to apprehend the perpetrators.
The Commissioner described the incident as alien to the people of the area who are known for peaceful coexistence, prayed Almighty God to grant families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
He equally commiserated with the people of the area over the unfortunate incident, urged them to be vigilant and to avail information to security agencies that would lead to the arrest of the culprits.
The Commissioner assured that the State Government has swang into action on the matter, and would ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
