The Acting Rector of state-owned Polytechnic in Kogi, Dr S.O Usman Ogbo on Sunday took an assessment tour of projects currently going on at the institution.
He said this is part of measures he is putting in place to revive infrastructure in the school which according to him is in a bad shape.
According to him, when he came on board, he noticed that there was no befitting structure for the security men in the school which impacted on their performance.
He expressed optimism that with the new structure, the school will enjoy a reasonable level of security.
While expressing satisfaction with the level of work, Dr S.O Usman said he has dedicated this period to work and make sure the school progresses, saying the standard of the school will be comparable to the bests in the world.
He is an alumnus of the institute.
