2020 UN Public Service Day: POHAN puts up a Zoom Meeting in commemoration of this year global anniversary

The organised body for the former and serving public office holders association of Nigeria has rolled out a zoom meeting to commemorate the United Nations annual public service day 2020

The 23rd of June of every year as approved by the UN General Assembly, has being annually set aside to celebrate the value and virtue of public service in development process, recognizing the diligent work and service of public servants and encouraging the younger generation to pursue carrier in the public sector.

This year UN’s public service day, Theme: Action Today, Impact Tomorrow is coming during a global plaque season which threatens the full supposed celebration. However, POHAN being an umbrella body for public office holders in Nigeria has propose a zoom meeting to commemorate this year event.

The Zoom meeting convening notifications and invitation letters signed by the National President, Comrade Deola Eseyin. States that the body is committed to realising it objectives and ensuring an enviable public service in the country.

Mr Deola added that the zoom meeting has become pertinent to be held online since the worldwide pandemic threatens gathering, the zoom initiative became necessary as an alternative choice in this digital age.

He also said the zoom meeting will be graced by global leaders cut across different Nations who will be discussing on the Topic: #NigeriaDependsOnMe.

The POHAN president also gave insight into the expected guest speakers of the meeting. The list includes: Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esa (NGR) Dr Tunji Olugbodi (NGR), Barr Babatunde Irukera(NGR),
Dr Christopher Imumolen(NGR), Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan (NGR)
Sir. Clyde Rivers PhD (US), Dr .Leong Ting ( Germany), Dr. Mrs Victoria Michaels(US), Mr Suleiman Momoh(NGR) and
Mr Robert Schmidt (US), Amongst other world leaders expected.
