Gov. Yahaya Bello’s aide passes on

A personal assistant to the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, Mr. Abdulateef Suleiman has died. 

Our correspondent gathered that the deceased had been on admission at a private medical facility in Abuja before his death on Wednesday.

Source who spoke to our correspondent said his death is not unconnected with a cardiac arrest.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mohammed Onogwu, read, “We regret to announce the passage of the Personal Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State, Abdulateef Suleiman. He will be buried today according to Islamic Funeral Rites. May God accept his soul.”
