Malawian Lawyer Rejects Appointment as Justice Minister, gives shocking reason

Malawian Lawyer, Mordecai Msiska has turned down an offer to be the new Minister of Justice in President Lazarus Chakwera’s cabinet.

He said it would seem like it’s a reward for helping new President Chakwera win the court case that canceled rigged elections won by his opponent.

Malawi’s constitutional court ordered a new presidential election after annulling the results of a vote that re-elected President Peter Mutharika in May, citing widespread polling irregularities, including the use of correction fluid on ballot papers.
