The Chief Executive Officer of Stardom Global Television, SGTV Omoluabi Olabode Adeyemi has been appointed the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters.
This was announced Thursday night in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike.
The media entrepreneur in a chat with SGTV on Friday expressed gratitude for the appointment, promising to give his best in the service of his state.
The Governor had earlier announced the appointment of Commissioners following his victory at the polls for a second term in office.
Similarly, governor Bello also on Thursday approved the appointment of Mohmoh Abdul Lasisi as Personal Assistant to replace the late Hon. Suleiman Abdulateef Adinoyi.
The statement also announced the sack of Senior Special Assistant on Security in charge of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, Ayo Ariyo.
Though no reason was given for the relief of appointment, Ariyo is to be replaced by Olorunleke Moses, whom, before this announcement was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Kabba /Ijumu Federal Constituency.
