An APC stalwart in Kogi State, Mr. Nayo Jude Babatunde-Uyi has congratulated Omoluabi Olabode Adeyemi on his appointment as by the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as Adviser on Political Matters.
Describing the elevation as deserving, Babatunde-Uyi said he is not surprised over the appointment, adding that it is timely and aptly perfect in furtherance of the inclusion of the people Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency in political affairs in Kogi.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said Omoluabi has been a vibrant voice in pressing for the good of his people, expressing optimism that he would usher in new strength in delivery of excellent service.
“The appointment of Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, as the Senior Special Assistance on Political Matters (Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency) is a public demand, it is timely and aptly perfect to address and optimize the current political dynamism of the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency; an injection of political prosperity into the system and a measure towards realistic development.
“Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has always been a vibrant voice, a progressive and a reputable opinion leader in Kabba (and Kogi west by extension) political and social class, I have no doubt for his dexterity, technocracy, wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver excellently in this new capacity” he said.
He emphasized that Owe people stand to gain politically from the appointment of Omoluabi into the governor’s cabinet.
Babatunde-Uyi also expressed gratitude to governor Bello for efforts to unify all every part of the state and foster a sense of belonging.
“This is a big plus for the Owe community (politically). I might not be absolutely non-bias in this regards, but considering the late and recent state political dispensation (appointments under the GYB led administration), this particular appointment and many others are long due for the Kabba (Owe) people.
“I appreciate specially the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello for this credible and unifying consideration and appointment. The antecedents of the appointee, I’m sure is enough insight into his expected effectiveness in delivering his duties. Also, I congratulate the Kogi State Government for this new injection into her system, an epitome of intellectual capacity. I hope the State goverment make the best out of it, by providing needed and necessary facilities and grounds every necessary time.
“Meanwhile, I humbly urge the newest state appointee, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, to in his usual nature, remain accessible to all, (especially the grassroot) and remain committed to the cause of the people he represents at all costs.
