The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Olabode Adeyemi has felicitated with the state Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Mukadam Idris Asiwaju on his appointment into the Presidential Implementation Committee on Ajaokuta Steel Project by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Omoluabi in a statement issued on Friday said his appointment is a recognition of his commitment in service to fatherland and assurance of involvement of Kogi State in the global leading steel development industry .
Omoluabi while describing the Commissioner as an upwardly mobile young man who has a lot more to give to the country expressed optimism that his appointment into the Presidential committee will be a value addition to the State and country at large.
“Like every one in Governor Yahaya Bello’s cabinet, Hon. Mukadam Asiwaju has exhibited uncommon brilliance, devotion and outstandingly unique in the discharge of his functions.
“To those of us who have undaunted confidence in his ability to deploy his expertise and knowledge in serving his people, this appointment did not come as a surprise.
“It further highlights the quality of individuals His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has chosen to help in driving the Kogi State generations unborn with be grateful for” he said.
Omoluabi while expressing optimism that Ajaokuta steel project when fully revitalised will not only boost the revenue generation base of the state by will take tens of thousands of Nigerian youths out of the labour market through direct and indirect job generation.
