Eid-el-Kabir: Omoluabi felicitates with Muslim Ummah, calls for prayers

The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Olabode Adeyemi has congratulated the Muslim Ummah, entire people of Kogi and Nigerians at the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Omoluabi in a statement issued on Friday further urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice which the celebration symbolises.

He expressed gratitude to the Alhaji Yahaya Bello administration for putting the people at the forefront through massive developmental initiatives which he said has changed the narratives in the state.

“As active stakeholders in the project Nigeria, even as we rejoice in the mood of the celebration, we must not lose sight of the fact that we must make sacrifices in our quest to enthrone a country posterity will be kind to us for.

“We must commit our time, energy and resources in which ever way possible to build an egalitarian nation.

“Our dear State under the leadership of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello has demonstrated uncommon zeal, commitment and passion towards permanently changing the narratives” he said.

Omoluabi commended governor Bello for entrenching equity, fairness and justice in administering the affairs of Kogi State.

According to Omoluabi, governor Bello has banished ethnic bigotry and fostered equality for all especially in the deployment of human, infrastructural and financial resources to all parts of the state.

He also appealed to Nigerians to commit the country to God in prayers especially this period when COVID-19 outbreak has brought about economic difficulties to governments and individuals across the world.
