(Photos) SGTV organises training for staff, pledges more investment in human capital development

As part of measures to ensure effective service delivery, Stardom Global Television (SGTV) has organized a training program for its staff to meet up with the dynamism of developmental journalism.

The section which took place at the Abuja corporate headquarters of the media organization on Saturday was in partnership with a consultant, African Media Roundtable Initiative (AMRI).

Addressing the participants, the Manager News and Programmes Alex Enemanna said this is one of the series of events put in place by SGTV to keep staff abreast the evolving trends in the media industry.

According to Enemanna, the company is making huge investment in the area of staff training and manpower development in line with its mandates.

The participants expressed gratitude over the training, saying it is a value addition for them in the field of journalism.

Trainers were drawn from across the print and electronic media, including co-anchor of AIT’s breakfast show KAKAAKI, Ehizojie Momoh.

It is expected that the one day training exercise will further engender professionalism, ethical values and productivity among SGTV staff.
