Governor Bello’s Supreme Court victory, sign of future assured for all Kogi indigenes — Hon. Ayodele

A chieftain of APC in Kogi State, Hon Adeniyi Ayodele has congratulated the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja on their victory at the Supreme Court.

SGTV had earlier reported that a seven-man panel of the Supreme Court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, on Monday affirmed the election of Governor Yahaya Bello in two judgments dismissing the separate appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and the Social Democratic Party.

Reacting to the development, Hon. Ayodele while expressing gratitude to the Supreme Court judges for upholding the will of majority of Kogi people in the November 16, 2019 added that it is a victory for rule of law.

“I congratulate our dear governor, His Excellency Adoza Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Edward Onoja on their resounding victory at the Supreme Court. It is indeed a victory for democracy and Rule of Law.

“We the Kogites are happy that the protracted legal tussle has finally been laid to rest. This verdict provides everyone opportunity to join the governor in building the Kogi State for which posterity will be kind to us.

“It is also a future assured for all lovers of democracy and good governance in our land. This will now afford the governor opportunity to continue in his reformatory agenda he has initiated in all areas of our lives since he came on board.

“Once again, I congratulate you our amiable leader” he said.

Hon. Ayodele also prayed for God’s divine protection and guidance upon the governor to lead the people of Kogi.
