Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated the former Rector Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Prof M.I Ajibero as he clocks 70.
Omoluabi describe the don as a gift to humanity and a treasure to academic world who has contributed a greater period of his lifetime seeking a turn around in the country’s education sector.
In a birthday message to Prof. Ajibero on Monday, Omoluabi recalled how the academic saw to the unprecedented renewal of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja when he held sway as its Rector.
“As a statesman who has transverse many aspects of our education, his contributions in leaving an indelible ink of honour in the sector is immeasurable.
“A Professor of Lbrary Science, former lecturer Bayero University Kano, former Librarian at University of Ilorin and former Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, his vibrancy in matters of education management is never in doubt.
“Prof. Matthew Ajibero has penned many academic journals channeled towards providing a roadmap for the development of our dear country.
“As a humanist, he has embarked on philanthropic gestures that restored hope to the hopeless and brought succour to the desolate.
“Numerous Kabba and Okun people indigenes have been empowered and positioned for wealth through the unilateral efforts of Prof. Ajibero.
“As you hit the threshold of a septuagenarian this day, I pray God Almighty to continually use you as a vessel to bring light in the lives of many and your dream of our country’s academic world come to reality” Omoluabi said.
He further prayed God to grant Prof. Ajibero long life and strength him for more exploits.
