Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated a former Kogi West Senatorial aspirant, Col. Yomi Dare (retd) as he marks birthday.
Omoluabi says Col. Dare has devoted his youthful age fighting for the unity, indivisibility and territorial integrity of the Nigerian nation.
Describing him as an exemplary leader, patriot and gentleman, Omoluabi said the retired military officer has never hidden his love for an egalitarian and fair Nigerian society devoid of rancour and division.
“Col. Dare is a fighter not only in the war front as a military officer but as a firm believer in fair and just society.
“He is a leader who does not only lead from the forefront but carries his followers along in love and tenderness.
“He is a treasure to Okun land, Kabba, Kogi and the country at large where he has used the vibrancy of his youth to keep and preserve the labour of our heroes past.
“A gentleman and philanthropist, he has shown light to many.through his large heartedness, a lot of our people have achieved their goals in life. He has facilitated employment for a great number of our youths, a testimony which abounds till date.
“He is a patriot who has never shied away from making meaningful contributions in entrenching a visionary leadership at various levels of government. His courage to throw his hat into the race for Kogi West Senatorial District in the last election speaks to his depth of desire to serve the people more.
“I lack words to felicitate with a perfect gentleman like Col. Yomi. He is exemplary and unique in many areas of life. As he becomes a year older today, I, on behalf of my family celebrate him and pray God to give him greater heights in life” Omoluabi said.
He also prayed God to continually endow Col. Dare with more wisdom and sound health as he makes meaningful contributions in the development of Kogi State and the country at large.
