LG election: Your emergence must consolidate Gov. Yahaya Bello’s good governance agenda, Omoluabi tasks APC LG election candidates

Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Governor on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated the candidates of APC in the upcoming local government chairmanship and councillorship elections in the state.

Omoluabi while expressing optimism that the candidates will emerge victorious at the polls charged them to use the opportunity of their expected victory to advance the efforts of the governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in providing visionary leadership in the state.

In a statement he personally issued on Friday, Omoluabi expressed the readiness of governor Bello-led administration to ensure that dividends of democracy trickle down the grassroot which he said begins with a democratically elected leadership.

The SSA Political Matters also promised to mobilise political awareness programme, networking and unassailable strategy for the party to have overwhelming victory in the upcoming election.

“The emergence of various candidates in different local governments and wards is a reflection of the will of the people. His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello the Governor has consistently demonstrated his avowed commitment to allow the people freely choose who represents them.

“The upcoming election is a plus to the democratic profile of governor Yahaya Bello. It in line with his pursuit for effective local government administrative system as well as efforts to improve the people’s standard of living through adequate infrastructure provision.

“I charge all APC candidates to be good ambassadors of our great party by delivering on people-oriented projects.

“I congratulate the leader of our great party and the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, State Chairman and party leadership for providing a level playing ground for our people to actively take part in their governance process” he said.

Omoluabi called on the people of Kogi to vote massively for APC for more benefits of democratic dividends.
