Omoluabi salutes Catholic Church for sound morals, corporate contribution to societal development

Says he’s happy to be Chairman Adult Harvest at St Clement Kabba

The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has applauded the Catholic Church leadership and community for their value for sound moral upbringing, corporate community development initiatives and consistency in doctrine and practice.

He made this commendation on Sunday while addressing the parishioners of St Clement Catholic Church Iyah Kabba as the Chairman of the 2020 Adult Harvest celebration.

The Governor’s aide who went down memory to recount his days of growing up at the Catholic Church and how the church’s sound moral belief and culture of community based educational and healthcare development initiatives positively affected his life, also said the church provided the needed foundation he required to be a man in life.

Omoluabi says despite the collapse in family values, morality and good character, the church has continued to sustain her agelong values, belief and developmental strides.

He congratulated the church for being unique and being the living conscience of the society.

“I am happy to be back home, just as I’m over joyous to see faces who have been the pillar of the church since my childhood. Roman Catholic church remains a positive reference and a pleasant example of churches that have not allowed modernity to erode away certain shared values we were brought up with. I thank the church for honouring me as the Adult Harvest Chairman, I thank the church’s administrator for the love they have shown me. I Will continue to keep in touch with the church for my involvement and contribution towards the development of the church” he said.

Earlier, the church administrator, Rev Fr. Dukiya admonished the people to stand with the church to support the ongoing development.

He expressed gratitude to God for making them see another harvest and pray for many more to come.

Present at the ceremony is the Obajemu of Oweland, HRH, Oba Michael Ibinaiye and many other dignitaries
