The Director General of the All Progressives Congress Campaign Council for Kabba/Bunu LGA, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has tasked the Councillorship Candidates from the fifteen wards of Kabba/Bunu LGA to take their campaigns to the nooks and crannies of their respective wards, saying that the Party is determined to win convincingly in all the positions for the election across the wards of the LGA.
Omoluabi made the charge during the meeting of the Director General of the Campaign and his deputy with the Councillorship Candidates of the fifteen wards of the LGA at Kabba on Sunday. The Director General says the party has gone through a people participatory and keenly contested primary election, in total conformity with the provision of law and is poised to win in a free, fair and transparent election that would be conducted on the 12th December, 2020.
While addressing the candidates, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, says the Governor who is the leader of the party in the state has sufficiently briefed all stakeholders to go and deliver the various candidates, he therefore called on the party leaders, to unite behind their candidates for the overall victory of the party. He encouraged them to visit every household and woo them to vote the APC Candidates
In his speech, Hon Kayode Alhassan admonished candidates to double their efforts to deliver the party, he said that we must not assume victory, but work very strongly to ensure victory.
Various Councillorship candidates one after the other spoke of their, preparedness, challenges and plans in their various wards.
The Kogi Local government elections into the chairmanship and Councillorship positions has been scheduled to hold on Saturday 12th December, 2020.
