Russia has warned the united States that Moscow has the power to put the united states in its place and accused the west of stoking a wild plot to tear Russia apart.
Former Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev who is now deputy secretary of Russia’s Security Council, said the US had stoked ” disgusting” Russophobia in an attempt to force Russia to it’s knees. “It will not work, Russia has the might to put all of our enemies in their place”, says Medvedev.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb 24, the United States and it’s European allies have placed heavy sanctions on Russian leaders, companies and business mean, cutting Russia off from much of the world economy.
President Vladimir Putin said that what he calls the special military operation in Ukraine was necessary because the united states was using Ukraine to threaten Russia, and Moscow had to defend against the genocide of the Russian speaking people by Ukraine.
Ukraine had said it was fighting for it’s existence and Putin’s claims of genocide were nonsense, the West says claims that it wants to divide Russia apart are baseless. Russia added that in spite of sanctions it can fare well without what it casts as deceitful and decadent West led by the United States.
