TGovernor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has called for a meeting with all aspirants contesting for different political positions in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
The meeting has been scheduled to hold on Monday, April 25, 2022 (today) by 11 am at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
It was reported that the Governor had summoned the aspirants due to some disagreements concerning the forthcoming primary of the party.
A statement confirming the meeting, which was signed by the State Secretary of the party, Wasiu Adeleke, was released late Sunday.
It read, “This is to inform all aspirants for different elective political offices under Oyo State PDP that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and the leader of our party will like to meet with us all tomorrow Monday 25/04/2022 by 11am prompt at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.”
