ELDER AUGUSTINE ARIBIDO: We’ve Lost A Cerebral Patriot And Quintessential Owe Ambassador… Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi

The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has described the death of Elder Augustine Aribido, Owe(Kabba) elderstatesman and community leader as a rude shock, personal loss, loss to the community and indeed humanity. He said the Owe(Kabba) community is bereaved and have lost a man whose cerebral endowment was a huge blessing to the community, whose life and time was virtually dedicated to the service of his people, whose financial, official and personal resources were invested in the development of Owe(Kabba) kingdom and whose totality represented common cause of development, justice, equity and shared prosperity of his people.

Omoluabi who made this known in a press release made available on Wednesday 7th July, 2022 at Lokoja says Elder Aribido was a champion, success and accomplished in all facet of endeavors he ventured into. He said he recollect with profound respect all he learnt from the deceased while working closely with him in his lifetime, he said Elder Aribido was a very friendly uncle, blunt community leader, uncompromising defender of truth, excellent public servant and indispensable team player of great note.

*Dear Uncle, while you were in the hospital, we prayed and believed that you would recover and return back to us alive from the unfortunate incident, but it has pleased God almighty to call you home. Although it’s a painful occurrence that will remain indelible in our hearts, we cannot question God, although we would have been lot happy if you could return home so you could continue your leadership responsibility, but we have no power to bring you back to life, however, one thing is unarguably certain, it is the fact that you lived a life of sacrifice, love and you represented justice, equity and benevolence. We are devastated and bereaved, we’re broken and pained, we’re hit and hurt, but we take solace in the reality of eternity and certain to meet on the resurrection morning. Rest in peace great one, rest in peace dear uncle, rest in peace our loving ambassador* Omoluabi says

He further condole the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, Obaro otitóleke Oweyomade 1, entire Owe(Kabba) community and the immediate Aribido family over this irreplaceable and irreparable loss. He prayed that God gives them the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
