COVID -19: Nassarawa record thirteen new cases
Nasarawa State government has announced thirteen new additional COVID nineteen cases bringing the total number of confirmed case to twenty five across the state.
Announcing the figure during a media briefing at the government house lafia, governor Abdullahi Sule said the state received seventy eight results from Nigeria centre for disease control NCDC out of which twenty persons are from Nasarawa local government area who have had contact with the late lawmaker and four of them were found positive of virus.
Expressing concern over the increasing number of COVID nineteen cases in Nasarawa local government area, governor Sule appealed to residents of the area to exercise more patient as he announced the extension of Lockdown on Nasarawa local government area for additional three days to enable medical expert traced those who had contact with the late lawmaker to avoid community transmission.
Governor Sule further explained that other confirmed cases were found among the returnees from states that have high number of corona virus cases such as Lagos and kano state.
