The committee set up to screen the governorship candidates of APC in Edo in preparation for the upcoming primary election has disqualified the incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki.
The committee declared Governor Godwin Obaseki unqualified to contest in the election, saying his educational certificates have some discrepancies as well as his NYSC discharge certificate.
Hon. Matthew Iduoroyekemwen and Egnr. Chris Ogiemwonyi were also disqualified from taking part in the primary election.
The committee however cleared Pastor Osagie Ize- Iyamu, Dr. Pius Odubu and Hon. Osaro Obazee.
