The Nigeria Immigration Service on Friday officially inaugurated a Juma’at Mosque at its headquarters.
The Mosque according to a release signed by DCI Sunday James, the Service Public Relations Officer, it was completed through the combined efforts of Muslim officers.
He added that this apart from guaranteeing security to worshippers, it will avail officers of the Service opportunity to continue with their duties after worship.
The Friday service which marked the opening of the service was led by the Minister to Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isah Pantami.
Present at the event was the Minister of FCT, Muhammad Musa Bello, Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, His Royal Highness Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa (III) who represented His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar (III), CGI Muhammad Babandede MFR and other dignitaries.
