Omoluabi mourn foremost gender activist, former Presidential Liason Officer & ageless Kabba Amazon, Julie Ade-Cole, says her departure marks end of unforgettable era

The Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Hon Olabode Adeyemi popularly known as Omoluabi has described the death of Nigeria’s foremost gender activist, foremer Presidential Liason Officer to National Assembly for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and ageless kabba amazon, Chief(Mrs) Julie Ade-Cole as an end of an unforgettable era of excellence, patriotism, activism and progressive demeanour.

Omoluabi made the statement while reacting to the news of the the death of one of Nigeria’s representatives at the Beijing Women affirmative action conference, he says Chief Julie Ade-Cole was a pacesetter and matriarch of a modern Oweland. He says she will be fondly remembered for her doggedness, forthrightness and openness.

The Governor’s aide says the life and time of Chief(Mrs) Julie Ade-Cole shall remain indelible and memorable to every Owe person, women folk and Nigerians whose pathscrossed hers. He encouraged women folk to learn and pick quality lifestyle of mama as shining example to them.

Chief(Mrs) Julie Ade-Cole was one of Nigeria’s leading light in women gender advocacy, experienced politician, quintessential administrator and great patriot, she participated at the Beijing conference of 1995, she was also the Presidential Liason Officer to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and foremost gender activist.
