COVID-19: Nassarawa state records two new cases.

 

Nasarawa State government has confirmed the additional two cases of COVID nineteen in the state that brings the number of the cases to three across the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule Announced the additional two cases during a press briefing at the government house lafia. Governor Sule explained that the two new cases were found among the fourty women intercepted and quarantined at the state owned Isa Mustapha Polytechnic, Lafia who came from Lagos State.
The state governor also said the two women were evacuated from the quarantined center at the polytechnic to isolation Centre at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital lafia, while the remaining women will be at the quarantined center pending the outcome of their results.

Announcing measures taken by the state government to prevent the Spread of disease in the state, Govenor sule said meetings were held with religions and traditional rulers as well as leaders of National Union of road transport workers and motorcycles riders association in the state on the need for thier members to ensure restriction of movement and to comply with the government directives.
