Sen. Adeyemi commends Gov. Bello over appointments of Justices Olusiyi, Olowosegun into top judicial offices

The senator representing Kogi-West Senatorial District, Sen. Smart Adeyemi has expressed gratitude to Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello over the appointments of Honourable Justice H. A. Olusuyi as the Acting Chief Judge of the state and Honourable Justice Bayo Olowosegun as the President of the Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal. 

Sen. Adeyemi in a statement issued by his Legislative Aide, Chief Olowo Cornelius on Thursday said the appointments of the two eminent jurists who are both from Kogi West is a manifestation of inclusiveness, equity, fairness and justice which governor Bello’s administration has distinguished itself for.

According to the Federal lawmaker, this is the first of its kind in the last 30 years and in the history of Kogi State.

Sen. Adeyemi expressed the gratitude of his constituents over the Governors’s gesture, adding that primordial interest which was order of the day before the present administration was put behind while merit came to play.

“The leaders of Kogi West and myself have not regretted canvassing for the people’s votes and giving our full support to Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello in the last governorship election” he said.

The Senator further said, that these appointments, like others have demonstrated that governor Bello is a brother, a friend, and a governor indeed to the people of Kogi West.

Sen. Adeyemi congratulated the newly appointed top judicial officers on their elevation, urging them to justify their appointments by raising the standard of judicial jurisprudence through their policies and conducts.

He further encouraged the people of Kogi West to continue to give their unreserved support to the APC and the government of Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello, emphasizing that the people of Kogi West have never had it this good under any previous administration.

He assured the Yahaya Bello administration of the unconditional loyalty and support of both himself and the good people of Kogi West.
