Clergy advises youths to put God first in their endeavours

Youths in Africa have charged to allow God to a lead in their endeavours as to get divine guidance.

A Youth Minister/Economist and Computer Support Networking Expert, Peter James made this known on Saturday during the second season of the Christian Youth Mentorship Forum International virtual summit.

At the virtual summit which had youth participants from across the world, Pastor James noted that man’s life blueprint is in the hands of God, adding that no amount of struggle guarantees success without God at the forefront.

While insisting that attaining success goes beyond human efforts, the clergy advised the youths to allow God take the lead position while they follow. “When God is first, He becomes your source, your source determines your strength” he said.

The summit has its focal aim on teaching the youths and empowering them.

In his comment, Austen Ayo, a pastor and ICT Expert urged the youths to deploy their skills and wealth of experience for enhancing governance for the development of countries.

Pastor Ayo advised that youths must exhibit just behaviour by being fair to everyone.

Pst Dipo Adegoke from South Sudan took a cursory analysis of King David, the shepherd boy that became the most revered King in Israel history till date, recalling that the Israeli national flag bears the “Star of King David”.

Mrs Anne Adesokan a diplomat and Lady Delia Omotsola also discussed the nature of God and His Character as in taking the first position always in everything we do or want to do, posit that when you put God first you can never be the last, walking with God guarantees safe arrival at our destination.

Lady Delia also advised the youths on creating multiple wealth in a recession, taking the bull by the horn in launching out for business exploit but putting God first to avoid looking for short cuts that does not last.
