Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated the Commissioner for Environment in the state, Hon Victor Adewale Omofaiye on his birthday.
Omoluabi says Hon. Omofaiye has raised the bar of performance and integrity in service, adding that he radiates forthrightness, light and dignity in his years of public service.
In a message he personally endorsed on Wednesday, the governor’s aide while reminiscing of Hon. Omofaiye’s days as an Assembly member recalled how he performed his legislative functions, moved motions and sponsored bills primarily tailored as developmental lubricants in Kogi and by extension the country at large.
“Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye is a quintessential gentleman, committed public servant who has used his privileges to leave marks of honour in the minds of our people. A young man, full of energy, his contributions to the development of Kogi is well noted and stored in the archive of posterity.
“Okun land is blessed with special breeds of humans but Hon. Omofaiye stands out as one who has not only demonstrated dogedness in service but openly advertises the shinning lights surrounding decision-making table in our dear state Kogi.
“A former Councillor and former legislative aide, the reformatory initiatives he has brought into the business of Kogi State government, particularly the environmental sector he heads has made the state a model for others.
“The degradation and harmful practices that before now jeopardized our environments and exposed our people to hazards have been totally reversed. His outstanding footprints stand for him” Omoluabi said.
Omoluabi also prayed God grant the Commissioner many more years of service in fulfillment and good health.
